Next, here is a design that riffs on the previous one. However, it’s great advantage is that you can make it in different sizes and equip the whole bunch.

Child Shawl Cardigan
Next, this crocheted girl’s cardigan is a whole different take. While the previous one went for the elegant approach, this one is right out of a fantasy novel. Thus, it’s a fantasy lacy and frilly sweater for a fantastic princess!

Simple Fingerless Gloves
Next, we have some simple ones that are shorter than the first pattern. Thus, these ones go just beyond the wrist and are great for making a fashion statement.

Beautiful Shell Afghan
We haven’t looked at a square-based pattern yet, so I’d like to fix this glaring omission now. Thus, here is one such project. Start by crocheting small squares and join them together into a blanket when you have enough of them. You can customize your afghan by choosing different colors and arranging the squares in various patterns.
Elsewise, you can incorporate squares made using a different pattern… or even of a different size – so long as the sizes are even multiples of one another. However, this shell square is still one of my favorites.

Pastel Feather and Fan Blanket
Ripple stitches come in all shapes and sizes, but this one is truly spectacular. Delicate openwork at the bottom of each “valley” adds character and style to the whole project. The next step is the choice of colors, and you can’t go wrong with pastel shades and neutrals.
